USA SOFTBALL HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM | The High Performance Program (HPP) serves as a pipeline to the USA Softball National Team Program with a focus on developing player skills, while teaching and growing the game of softball in the United States. Identifiers are held around the country with top athletes being selected to advance to regional events and on to national teams tryouts.
The High Performance Program (known as HPP) offers local & regional tryouts. Players from those events are selected to advance to the National Selection Trials in late October or early November. Players at the National Selection trials compete for a spot on the USA National teams at various age groups. Players on those teams will represent the USA at International competition.
